The Ingleton Waterfalls Trail is a well defined walk which navigates its way along the edge of rivers, getting you as close as possible to the spectacular local waterfalls.
Taking in Thornton Force, Beezley Falls and Baxenghyll Gorge, this circular trail is approximately 4.5 miles long and takes between 2.5 to 4 hours, depending on your ability and whether you stop for a picnic or not.
Enjoy the seasonal landscape and unspoilt landscape whilst learning about the incredible geological features which have contributed to this area being designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest.
Don’t be fooled by this well-marked way – sturdy footwear and sensible clothes are still required as there are lots of steps and in inclement weather, the walkways can be muddy and slippy.
Take your furry friend along too! Dogs are welcome to wander the route with you but we advise that you keep it on a lead.
