Taking in stunning scenery along the banks of the River Wenning, offering stunning view of the Forest of Bowland, for which High Bentham is a gateway town.
This circular walk is great if you want to arrive early on your check in day, or enjoy a stroll before you leave us on your checkout day (you’d be welcome to leave you car in our car park).
The route follows some of the Bentham Heritage Trail, which is an old route created to highlight areas withing the area of importance. As you wind your way along the banks of the Wenning, you can learn more about what made the area and features of historical significance.

Terrain: This route takes you through fields, along roads and therefore includes a variety of terrains, which can change depending on the weather. Please be prepared for stiles, gates, cattle grids and muddy slopes.
